Came 6 days late!

Such a miracle that our son Matthew with the meaning Gift from God was born on the day we celebrate our Savior's Resurrection.

When he was born we whispered in his ear that because of God's love you was apart  of our family and we would teach him who his Savior was. That we would be a family together forever because his mom and dad were sealed in His temple and he had no need to worry that we would teach him how to return to live with his Heavenly Father and not to be scared.

Pretzel Tour

So many of my friends ask me what do you do all day being a mom? I tell them PLAY and have fun!

So we met up with some Bakersfield Stake Mom's and took a tour of the pretzel store and ate free pretzels.

Mason has a new love for pretzels.

They had a fun story for us to learn about where pretzels came from.

He loves being with new friends!!

Eggs

We are enjoying Easter activities. Mason got some sweet bunny ears and he loves pretending he is a bunny and jumping around with his ears on. With Easter coming we have been practicing Easter egg hunts and Mason loves loves it. Dad had to do the Easter egg hunt because mom gets too competitive and Dad is relaxed and lets Mason do his thing. 

It was funny Mason kept saying trick or when he wanted to eat more of his candy.

Then to top it off we saw a train!!

Foster's

We miss Charile's in Logan but we found Fosters! So yummy. Fun family night.

 Someone was bad at sharing.

He always has to choose a special toy to come along.

Owl Time

Mason's room is decorated in owls but it wasn't the clear to the eye. But Mawmaw fixed that! She sent use owl stickers in the mail and Mason loved watching mom put them up. We had to go back threw and he had to show me everyone. He jumped sang and whooted like the owls.

PaPaw drew these for Mason when he was born. He is working on our new baby's project and we are excited to see.

Swimming in March

The Hot tub is the perfect place to go swimming here in our neighborhood. 

It's perfect bath water temp and we love it!

I was born a fish I love love to swim and I hope that my children will also. I would love to be a mom at swim meets cheering her kids on. I have a LOUD voice and am not afraid to use it. Does it or will it embarrassed my family oh yes and do I care NOPE!

When others cheer for me I love it, it builds me up. 

Playing with Dad

So we have had some fun lately. Lucas went away for training for 6 weeks and we survived. But oh did we miss him and Mason loves having his Dad back.

We were worried about that transition of having Dad back, we had a few day Lucas was gone on a job and wanted nothing to do with him when he came back. But we were wrong Lucas and Mason are best buds and it makes me love those men so much more when I see them holding hands.

So today we went to the best car show I've ever been too!

Then there was a FFA completion for hens, duck, game birds and it was so fun to see.

Mason pulled Dad around to see all the cars.
