Lucas's work scheduled can be rough sometimes. He works two weeks on which means when a job calls out wherever he is then it's time to go home and go back to work. Sometimes jobs call out one after the other and other times he is just in the office 8to5.
When he has a glorious week off we play and enjoy life.
This last week he had off and we jumped in the car and headed to LA.
We stayed at the temple apartments and enjoyed being a 3 min walk to the temple and trading off watching the kiddos and working in the temple.
Whenever we go to LA (which has been 3 times so far) we always go to the beach but with such a big HOLLYWOOD city and lots to do we decided to get away from the crowded beach and enjoy as Mason would say "the big green planet".
The
Griffith Observatory was a fun FREE thing to do and Mason keeps talking about the green plants he saw I love it.
Driving up to this place was intimidating seeing the cars lining the road. We were worried about big lines and crowds but when we reached the top Lucas let me jump out of the car and run like a crazy women to save a spot. I'm so glad he did because when there is a melt down (which happens often being in the midst of the twos) the car needs to be close. You know what I mean.
Can you see the HOLLYWOOD sign to the right of Mason's head?
Look there is even a picture of me!
Mason "Mom look at the stars and the moon whooh big"
I can't remember the name of this but I love that Mason remembers it he will tell me about the ball using his arm and the ball goes like a clock. This kid is crazy fun. I love that he can share his memories with us.
