update

Sorry all I've been using my instagram and chapbooks to do my updates! But didn't want you to feel neglected, so update here we go!

Halloween we went to UT! Fun moment when we were in Tooele we went swimming at the community pool.They have a slide you can take your kids down of man oh man was that fun. This was th e firsit time for Matthew to go down. Lucas wasn't happy I made him get in the pool at first,  he won't admit it know but he is glad he got in. I think we went down those life at least a dozen times. Sad no pictures we decided it would have been awesome to have our gopro so next time.

Thanksgiving is on its way we are being rebels and we aren't having turkey but a redeye roast! Which is a treat man it's not often we buy beef because it's so costly!
We Will be joining our Thanksgiving with an other young family in our ward which will be nice!

Halloween is coming

Everyday ish we have a small Halloween activity! The first day was putting up decorations and man were the boys so excited. Mason kept saying mom this is so awesome, this is going to be so great.

Every morning since then he asks if it's Halloween. Poor kid waiting is so hard, so in waiting we celebrate!

Halloween socks, fyi it's still 99 here so we will be excited for cooler weather!

Target costumes

Coloring pumpkins. We used washable marker bad idea it came off. So the next day we painted them.

It's been fun celebrating in little ways, we are enjoying it!

Primary program

Masons first primary program.

Mason smiled, kept he hands down and although we didn't hear or understand his words we were ecstatic he was courageous to stand and participate.

Masons primary teacher sister Ruiz has her hands full with 3 boys!

We are so grateful she takes the time to teach these boys.

Mason Masons favorite lesson in primary with sister Ruiz was Mose and the plagues.

He still remembers it!

Fresno Zoo

Friends and family if and when you come visit we will go to the LDS temple and then fresno zoo.

These are soviners I brought back from six flags!They wanted to be super hero's for the day.

Pawpaw would have loved this reptile house and we did!

Matthew loved the turtles and fish.

Such a fun day. Lucas made me wear my super woman cape. I was so mad even stomped my foot, but he sat and waited for me to pur it on. A few choice words later that I pray my kids don't repeat, 3 superheros entered the zoo.

I'm glad I wore it Mason and Matthew were in hevan.

Mom's happy place

When the stars align and mom can go play life is wonderful. Can I say I have the best husband for me! I leave all day, volunteer him for carpool, and he reminds me not to feel guilty and "don't come back tell your ready!"

I did just that!

At six flags

It had been 6 years since I had risen a roller coaster six! The other two mom's I was with we couldn't remember if we had liked riding roller coasters... guess what I love roller coasters!

 Oh yes that's right I have a cape on why because it's fun!

Doughnuts

In celebration of hitting my goal weight of 165 we git foster doughnuts! My friend Jenni introduced them to me.

Play time work time

Lucas has a job that when work needs to be done you can't stop for sleep or food tell it's done.

So while stocking studio5 I found a recipe for playdough and I actually had all the ingridents.

1 c warm water (I put mine in the microwave for 1 min)
2 c flour
2 tsp cream of tarter
1 TBS oil
1/3 c salt
Food coloring

As soon as I touched the playdough it reminded me of my mom making this for me and my three sisters.

So as Dad was typing away we made hum playdough ice cream, pizza and animals.

Mason was happy making creations.
Matthew loved pounding the balls mom would roll out.

I'm not dead

Yes it's been forever since I've updated, the reason being I don't like getting in the slow laptop. I love having a smart phone and the only time I pull out the ancient 7 year old labtop s when I need to print out coupons.

We had a fun summer lots of swimming and hiding from the heat.

Recently we ave joined a new joy school group, Mason is doing a great job learning his letters, numbers and making new friends.

I've been bottling fruits it feels good to be self sustaining.

Tar Pits

So I married a science nerd and I love it!

We bought our first membership to a natural history museum.

We go to the LA temple and love to treat ourselves to a fun activity afterwards.

While we wait for the busy traffic to clear away.

With our NHM pass we can also go to the La Brea Tar pits.

So cool. Tar pits still in the middle of LA were tons I mean thousands of ice age bones layered in these pit of tar. The great thing is they are still digging and finding!

Summer time equals play time

For the first year ever I have two new years resolutions that are still happening. 

They are

#1 Get healthy and like my body

#2 Play and be happy

So often I feel bad Lucas goes of to work and comes home tired and just wants to put his feet up. But in my world that shouldn't be his daily life because he deserves to be happier and play. Not just work work work and then sleep.

So I make him do funny things... he complains less so I think he likes it. 

He says as long as there is a treat involved then he is in.

So I like to do as many of our activities free or under $10 so that way we can do 10-20 fun things a month instead of 2 or 3. Don't get me wrong hiring a sitter and going to a dinner and a movie is wonderful but expensive.

So last Thursday we went to watch a free kids theater variety show.

Mason loved it!

We only stayed for 20 min (Matthew didn't love it so much and mom's arms go tired of bouncing him)

Then we went to Dewar's a special hometown ice cream treat. With coupons in our pocket we enjoyed every bite.

Joy School

So this last year me and a few mom friends have had Joy School together twice a week we for two and a half hours. Mason loved loved loved it. It was hard a first leaving mom but earlier this month Mason jumped out of the car put on his ninja turtle backpack waved good bye and ran to the door. 

My baby is growing up. 

Often we would pretend our car was a school bus on the way to school and would sing " The wheels on the bus go round and round..." at the top of our lungs.

Man did we learn some fun things this last year!

Addison, I love her sometimes I would pretend she was mine and hug her time pat her cute bum. You always have to give these little ones a hug and a bum pat. 

Funny story you must not suck in when making snake bubbles, Addi learned the hard way. Lot of bubble in her tummy that day poor girl.

We will miss school this summer.
