Happy Easter

It was Stake Conference today.

We were invited over to a family friends house after church and it was heavenly!

Man getting these boys to smile in a picture is hard work.

The egg hunt was nice and slow. Perfect Matthew pace

I made this bags with a pro sewers help!
I'm excited to use them every year

I think I am meant to only have boys.

This little man Daniel kept sitting in my lap he is so friendly. I pretend he is mine sometimes because I have always wanted a red headed child

Matthew loved pushing all the eggs around. There were fun snacks inside and he quickly learned to open the eggs and open the snack wrappers.

So we often don't by the season holiday candy because it's expensive. Well I almost cried when I saw these bowls o my favorite candy. Usually I can only afford to buy a few Resses eggs and here was a huge bowl.

Good Friday

Surprise, Good Friday was an office holiday for Lucas. So off to the mountains we went.

The closest mountains are 30-45min away.

We were spoiled in Logan Utah.

Lucas did a great job carrying this 25lb child!

I didn't think we would make it to the top of this mountain. We had to keep stopping and throwing rocks or look for bugs to let Mason rest and keep his spirits up.

But man was Mason to excited when we got to the top. He loved looking out to see how far we had climbed up.

someone fell asleep on the way back

Easter Egg hunts are for Adults

Crazy Crazy parents at the egg hunt.
Egg hunts are for kids...well in Bakersfield parents did not get the memo.
I grabbed Mason's hand and ran over to an egg and shielded it so Mason could pick it up.
Did a few hands try to grab the egg in between my feet?
Yes
Did I stomp on their hands?
No but I wanted too!

But Mason didn't notice and we played with friends

It's been a year

We did it Matthew Logan Garcia is one years old.

Matthew has seven teeth

He wasn't walking on his birthday but he is now! 4/16/14

He love bunnies and puppies.

When he crawls he tucks his head down and steams ahead. Today he ran into a shelf poor guy.

He loves eating out of our hands so in honor of the steam crawler we had a puppy party.

White cake with vanilla pudding whipped cream frosting.
He was in heaven.

We played a simple game where we all wrote something we loved about Matthew and a wish for him. We wrote them on dog bones and I mad a puppy out of a large brown paper sack. We fed the puppy the bones and read all the nice things.

I love his hugs
I love his blue eyes
I love his happy smile
I love that he is my brother

Happy Birthday FRIENDS!

Maybe one day we will have a girl until then we will borrow friends and nieces.

Mormon Mom's in Vegas

Wonderful weekend!
With the new year I decided this was the year to have fun.
Soon after deciding that girls weekend was on the list.
It took some planning to find a good weekend, with babies, nursing and life.
But we made it work.
It was planned perfectly! The weather was great.

We all met in the middle in Las Vegas.

My favorite part was feeling normal!
Being validated and hearing that others are going threw similar hurdles that I am.

I lost a piece of my car on the way home:(\

Before we met I up I went to the Las Vegas Temple.

Going to the temple is a spiritual treat for me I try to go once a month.
So starting off my vacation with quite time with God was.... calming.
