What's new?

Dad has off work this week and with 14 days tell Christmas we are trying to get into the Christmas spirit.

Here are some silly things we have been doing

We love driving around to see the lights Mason's commentary is priceless Lucas and I just giggle the entire time and repeat him. We love it!

For Family Night we drove around to see the lights and made cookies! Making cookies with these two boys is so much fun! We pull out the editable markers for Mason and he colors the cookies and Dad gets his crafty side out.

We wanted to share our Christmas with you!

I love looking at our decorations most of them have been given to us, begged for from parents and made or bought super cheap.

This is my late Grandma Rencher's tree. It's only 4 ft but it is perfect with Mason. I was sad we wouldn't have a big tree that we would have cut down from the snowy mountains but this is perfect for our family.

These ornaments are from Mamaw and Papaw we love having decorations from our childhood it brings more fun Christmas memories to share.

 We love them!

This is the our first DecemBear and it's so fun to have something of Lucas's that he had when he was young. 

It's Mason's favorite he loves to look and point out all the word that he can on it.

ALMOST 2

It's here he is soon to be 2!

Dad had a long long shift he worked (he left 2am on Thursday and we have yet to see him Sat 7:30pm).

So we pulled out some of the party decorations to help pass time away. 

It was GREAT we need to do this more often.

Mason had fun helping blow up the ballons. We had to use the bike pump being pregos I can't blow them up I've lost my lung strength. 

He rolled in them sat on them popped and didn't cry.

At the end of the day he is still is playing with them. He is laying on the couch swatting at them with my frosting spatula the nice long one. 

Chasing birds

Thanksgiving was wonderful. The food turned out great my favorite was my new love for cranberry sauce. I really had no love I would always skip over it but making cranberry orange sauce is the best. I'm so glad I'm going to make it again tonight for dinner.

We loved having family it feels weird that they are gone already. Mason loved crawling all over everyone.

We enjoyed going to Santa Monica, the beach was extremely foggy. Mason chased those seagulls around we loved to wander around and chase them. He never caught one he needs to get faster

THANKSGIVING

I can not tell you how heart broken I will be if a storm comes in and prevents my family from coming to see me. They don't know it yet but sleep will be a second priority to bonding time.

Everyone be safe and come quickly we are still counting down the links on our chain.

That reminds me I really need to finish painting my chairs before you come.

We are excited to attend our wards thanksgiving dinner this Saturday. I have volunteered to help cook a turkey or whatever they need help with. Can I tell you how much I am finally loving being pregnant oh food home much I have missed you. Morning sickness I hate it and don't want to hear about "oh I never got sick or threw up in my pregnancy" yep if that's you we love you and are jealous and don't want to hear it.

Mason has a new job this week laundry! He does great a pouring the soap in and throwing in the dirty clothes.

Also Dad and Mason got a favorite magazine in the mail.

Nov 1 Thanksgiving prep

We moved here Aug 17th and have I missed my family everyday and been jealous that my mom is with my sisters often YES.

But I get to not share them at Thanksgiving well I will share them with Mason for sure.

Grandma,Grandpa, Laura, Winston and maybe Bryan but I hope Bryan gets to go to a special ladies house for Thanksgiving instead.

We were so excited the other day we made a count down chain and other decorations.

 

I haven't had any turkey dreams yet but I sure do drool a little bit in my mouth thinking about it.
