Mormon Mom's in Vegas

Wonderful weekend!

With the new year I decided this was the year to have fun.

Soon after deciding that girls weekend was on the list.

It took some planning to find a good weekend, with babies, nursing and life.

But we made it work. 

It was planned perfectly! The weather was great.

We all met in the middle in Las Vegas.

My favorite part was feeling normal!

Being validated and hearing that others are going threw similar hurdles that I am.

I lost a piece of my car on the way home:(\

Before we met I up I went to the Las Vegas Temple.

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's.

Going to the temple is a spiritual treat for me I try to go once a month.

So starting off my vacation with quite time with God was.... calming.

CALM

We got a pass to the local Zoo and we like to steal friends and run away and we love it!

It's warm in the reptilian house I can only handle it for 10 min and then I'm gone.

This volunteer reminded us of Pawpaw. We love the volunteers here they teach us so much!

Matthew was in heaven in this picture he finally felt like one of the kiddos.

He had his hand in that popcorn bowl faster then anyone and shoveling I mean full tight handful quickly in the mouth.

It's been to warm here we are praying and fasting for rain! Luckily it's suppose to rain Wed and Sat.

But hey when in Rome!

Let me clarify that the hot tub we are swimming in is not hot but a warm bath the End.

At the end of last summer Mason started wearing swimming supports and it took awhile but he built up his courage. 

This year is so different the other day he walked right into a cold pool and raced across it. His swim is a run. I asked him if it was cold and in a shivering voice respond the water was warm.

Matthew also loves to swim! He has a great back float. 

Mason doesn't let mom teach him swim lessons he just likes to run.
